Find Us

The Institute is on the Garscube Estate, just off Switchback Road (A739) between Anniesland and Bearsden.

Visiting the Institute

When you arrive, please go to Reception to collect a visitor’s badge.
Badges must be worn visibly at all times while you’re in the building.

Tell security at the estate barrier you’re visiting the CRUK Scotland Institute, then follow signs to our car park..

Getting here

By car

From Glasgow Airport: M8 towards Glasgow, through the Clyde Tunnel to
Anniesland Cross, then follow signs for Bearsden. Turn right at the lights after the
canal and railway bridge.

From the south (M8): junction 17 (A82), along Great Western Road past the
Botanic Gardens, then bear right towards Bearsden.

Parking: visitor spaces in the Institute car park and at the rear of the building.

Train & bus

Train: Westerton station is a 15-minute walk away, with trains from Glasgow
Central and Queen Street.

Bus 15 (City Centre–Milngavie, hourly): ask for the “Farm Gate, Garscube Estate” stop.

Buses 17, 60, 60A via Maryhill Road, every 15 minutes. Bus 77 links the airport to the West End.

Taxi

From Glasgow Central or Queen Street:
about £10–12, 20–30 minutes.

From Glasgow Airport:
about £20–25, 20– 30 minutes.
